As the Chief Executive Officer, Kirk is responsible for providing strategic leadership, direction, and vision for the organization, ensuring its overall success and effective operation. Also serving as the Chief Operating Officer, Kirk oversees daily core business operations. He has decades of expertise as a proven leader in managed care and essential ancillary benefit services.
Kirk is skilled at executing strategic business initiatives. He is a data-driven leader. He oversees the day-to-day operations of various departments and fosters collaboration between teams.
Kirk is skilled at analyzing internal operations and identifying areas for process enhancement and growth. He is adept at managing organizational objectives and can quickly change focus to attain profitability goals. Kirk stays tuned into regulatory issues that impact business planning to ensure compliance on a company, state, and federal level.
Kirk’s impressive background includes numerous President and Chief Executive Officer roles at organizations such as CompBenefits Corporation, Spectrum Laboratory Network, Sentient Medical Systems, and Versant Health. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of Allied Benefit Systems and Avēsis. He is a partner at Red Coat Partners.
Kirk has a successful track record of growing revenue and earnings.
As the Chief Human Resources Officer, Allison oversees the entire Human Resources department and develops strategies that help to promote sustainable growth within the company, as well as ensuring employee satisfaction and retention through various policies. She works with departments throughout Avēsis to be able to address the differing needs of each department’s employees.
In 2006, Allison began her career in human resources executive leadership with EWI Inc. She worked with EWI for three years before working for her alma mater, University of Arkansas, as the Executive Assistant to the Dean & Associate Provost. She would then move on to the National Institute for Excellence in Teaching to serve for five years as the Director of Support Services and Operations where she worked with her support team of six managers to carry out online training and technical support for clients. Allison would then go on to work at Walmart for four years and climbed the ladder quickly to the position of Senior Director of Walmart Health. She moved on from Walmart to serve as the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at BioIQ for a year when she moved to Avēsis where she serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer.
Brian has enjoyed many executive roles throughout his career in executive management, business development, sales and solutions, and entrepreneurship. Brian consistently demonstrates his ability to successfully create, scale, and improve organizations of any size and always puts the customer and stakeholders at the forefront of the conversation.
Brian’s professional experience began in 2003 when he served as a legislative aide for Marlowe & Company where he worked on the development of various advocacy campaigns. He moved on to work at USIS where he began as a Business Development Manager, but, over the course of five years, rose to the position of Capture Management Executive leading the company’s business development activities. Brian then went on to serve as Vice President of Government Services for a year with Protection Strategies Incorporated, and Vice President of Business Development for a year at Culmen International. He would then go on to work at The RAIL Group for five years as the Managing Director. From 2017–2022, Brian would work at DentaQuest serving as the Vice President of Business Development and Vice President of Commercial, Individual, and Exchange. In September of 2022, Brian joined Avēsis as the Executive Growth Officer where he leads all business development and sales strategy initiatives.
Pat began his role as the Chief Information Officer for Avēsis in 2023. Pat has been a valued member of the technology team since 2022, acting as the Vice President of Information Technology. He has been accountable for IT infrastructure, IT operations, technology development, system integrations, architecture, and cybersecurity measures.
Prior to joining Avēsis, Pat was with Plexus Corp. for more than 8 years with his last role as the as the Chief Information Officer. Prior to Plexus he was with the Bemis Co. for almost 21 years, his last role with Bemis was Director of Information and Architecture. Prior to Bemis, he was with Wisconsin National Life for 7 years with his last role at WNL being the Director of Agency Technical support and Jr. Corporate Officer.

Garrett is an experienced Legal and Compliance executive with demonstrated success at public and private companies, top national law firms, and the U.S. Department of Justice. He currently serves as the Chief Legal Officer at Avēsis. As a Legal and Compliance leader, Garrett focuses on mitigating risk, solving problems, managing change, and helping his business team navigate a complex and evolving regulatory environment. Garrett is committed to fostering a culture of integrity and ethical behavior while simultaneously helping his business operate with speed and efficiency.
Garrett’s experience ranges from development of new “startup” business lines to transformation and reinvention of existing programs for mature business lines. He has over 20 years of legal and compliance experience ranging from work with the Department of Justice to private legal counsel. Garrett began his career as an Associate in 2000 at Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP in the D.C. area. He later went on to work as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, Senior Associate, and Trial Attorney before he became the Vice President & Senior Associate General Counsel at UnitedHealth Group from 2012 to 2018. Garrett remained in both an executive role and in the health and wellness field when he went on to work at Walmart as the Vice President of Global Health & Wellness Compliance Officer from 2018 to 2021. Garrett is now the Chief Legal Officer at Avēsis where he helps to foster an environment that not only focuses on ensuring the best interests of the customers but is in compliance with the ever-changing legal landscapes of the states where Avēsis operates.
Dr. Mann began his role at Chief Clinical Officer in February 2024. Dr. Mann Dr. Mann began his career at Avēsis in 2022 as Vice President of Dental Services, where he successfully streamlined and organized all dental services for both commercial and government lines of buseinss. His relentless focus on quality and clinical outcomes has made him well-positioned to expand his role and lead both the Dental/Vision Clinical and Quality teams.
Along with his current Avēsis responsibilities, Dr. Mann is the Chief Medical Officer, Strategic Board Advisor and Founding Medical Partner for the Dental Channel at Doctorpedia, a collection of educational and evidence-based medical videos that empower patients with readily available credible health information.
In addition, he is the co-Chief Executive Officer and a co-founder of JMLS Enterprises, LLC. In this capacity, he has partnered with Walmart Health to provide dental services to those most in need in and among local Atlanta neighborhoods, where an increased awareness of dental health, as well as an improvement in access to care, supports the health and well-being of customers and patients.
Dating back to 2011, Dr. Mann founded Providence Dental Spa with multiple dental practices in the Macon, Georgia, area. He is currently the acting President and Chief Executive Officer.
In July of 2023, Bary Bailey, Operating Partner at Cressey & Company, assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Avēsis. This assignment supports a smooth transition period between acting CFOs and offers continuity in financial operations due to Bary’s familiarity with the Avēsis’ organization. Cressey & Company manages an investment fund that owns a minority (12%) share in Avēsis’ parent company, Avatar Holdings, LLC.
Bary’s vast experience in the industry and proven financial insights ensure that current Avēsis financial strategies remain on track and are aligned with long-term objectives.
Prior to joining the Cressey team in 2010, Bary served as the CFO of AMN Healthcare Services, Inc. and, prior to that, as CFO of a global specialty pharmaceutical company. He has also served in executive roles with a variety of other healthcare companies, including PacifiCare Health Systems, Inc. (where he oversaw Pharmacy Benefit Management and Information Technology services), Premier, Inc., Tenet Healthcare Corporation, American Medical Holdings, Inc., and its subsidiary, American Medical International, Inc., as well as Arthur Andersen & Co. He has served on several boards as a director of both public and private companies.
